Homelessfor the Holidays

After graduating with a degree in fashion from Stephens College and working in the industry for seven years, Yvonne Chamberlain was called to serve and returned to Columbia, Missouri. Chamberlain first volunteered at Room at the Inn as an evening greeter, but soon regularly gave her time as an overnight volunteer, one of the shelter's hardest spots to fill. When the Coordinator position became available, Chamberlain's past experiences with planning, logistics, and people gave her the necessary skills to step into the full-time job.
